This month we had a workshop on fabric painting and printing. Maggie explained the process to us and demonstrated the various things that we could use to print on the fabric, such as Indian blocks, pieces of lino with shapes cut out, blocks made of such things as string and plastic and stencils.
We were then let loose to experiment ourselves. We had great fun and here are some of the prints that were produced on the day. We can now take this knowledge back and use it in future work. Thank you Maggie for a great workshop.
